The Library: 

The Library of Tripura Public Service Commission, the knowledge hub of the Commission provides comprehensive access to books, journals, reports, surveys covering diverse disciplines. The library of Tripura Public Service Commission is one of finest research libraries in Tripura with an excellent collection of over 15,000 books covering the universe of Knowledge.  The library also has a number of reports, databases and bound volumes of old Journals. The Library's resources are extensively used by the Commission and other external users after prior permission from the authority.

The Library is fully computerized and its catalogue, databases and journals are all accessible to the staff members of the Commission. Library staff members are always active in improving the condition of the library for better service towards the user communities.

At present, the Library of Tripura Public Service Commission  is using e-granthalay software, an Integrated Library Management  Software  from National Informatics Centre, (NIC), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology,Government of India and DSpace,a library software to digitized  all types of digital   content  including text, images, moving images,  and data sets of  the Commission in a stand alone mood for automation of the library. 

The Permanent Record Cell:  The library has a Special Collection Development where all the old files and documents are archived digitally. ‘Permanent Record Cell’ has been introduced in the Library as an extension service to keep all the files in digital form. In total 5000 files are so far archived in this cell as permanent records which are are kept scientifically and securely.
